William N. Dooley
William N. Dooley is executive vice president – Investments at AIG, where he has overall responsibility for AIG’s asset management. William joined the company 35 years ago and was elected AIG vice president in 1996. He has held numerous positions with the company including, executive vice president of investments and financial services from 2010-11; senior vice president of financial services from 1998-2010; senior vice president and chief investment officer of American International Underwriters.
A second and third generation Irish American on his father’s and mother’s side respectively, William received his M.B.A. in finance from Pace University and holds a B.S. in business administration from Manhattan College.
He is active in the Irish American community, where he is a member of both the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick in New York City as well as the Jersey Shore chapter.
William and his wife, Maureen, have four grown children: Margaret, William, Mary Kate, and Patrick.
