Tucker Tooley is the President of Relativity Media. He oversees the company’s day-to-day operations, business divisions, personnel, and its theatrical film slate. Since Tucker joined the company in 2007, the film division has earned numerous Oscar and Golden Globe nominations, and three of its releases have opened at No. 1 at the box office. In 2009, the Ischia Global Film Festival named him Executive of the Year. Before joining Relativity, he served as CEO of Tooley Productions. In 1999, he established Newman/ Tooley Films, with then-producing partner Vincent Newman. He began his film career as a creative executive at Interlight Pictures after earnng a B.A. at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

“The Irish are some of the best story tellers in the world,” Tucker says. “Being of Irish heritage and in the entertainment business, I feel a sense of responsibility to tell stories that will enlighten and endure the test of time.” Tucker is a fifth-generation Irish American with roots in Carrignamuck Knockamara, County Wicklow. He and his wife, Tessa, welcomed their first child last November.
