Tom Higgins is an EVP with Fiserv and serves on the firm’s management committee.   He leads real estate, procurement, crisis management, geopolitical risk, business resiliency, security, and cyber security. He also leads Fiserv’s military and veteran programs.

Prior to Fiserv, Tom served as CAO of First Data, where was also a member of the management committee. Prior to First Data, Tom led global operational control for JPMorgan Chase, where he served on the executive committee.

Tom served 24 years in the US Government, where he focused on national security and international issues, and retired as a member of the senior executive service. Tom is also a US Navy veteran.  He is a graduate of the State University of New York-Maritime, attended the US Naval War College, and completed the program on senior leadership at Harvard University’s JFK School of Government.

Tom’s Irish ancestors on both his father’s and mother’s sides came to the United States in search of freedom, opportunity, and success. Tom says, “I have always believed it was my duty to achieve something that would honor their journey and their struggle.”

He is a second-generation Irish American on his father’s side with roots in Mayo and third-generation on his mother’s side with roots in Tipperary.
