Tim Ryan joined Citi in June 2024 as Head of Technology and Business Enablement and is a member of Citi’s Executive Management Team. Tim works closely with Citi’s Transformation and Operations teams to drive cross-firm process simplification and modernization. With over 30 years of diversified experience in the financial services industry, Tim has served clients both in the U.S. and internationally. He is adept at leading large-scale transformation, evolving organizational culture, and bringing workforce and business operations into the digital age across the front, middle, and back offices.

A champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion, Tim co-founded CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion. He serves on the Board of The Brookings Institute and on the Trustees of the Financial Accounting Foundation, where he co-chairs the Standards Oversight Committee. Tim is a certified public accountant in Massachusetts and New York and graduated from Babson College with a focus on accounting and communications. He is the proud father of six children and is passionate about spending time with his kids, hockey, running, and reading. He is a first-generation Irish American with roots in Counties Galway and Cork.
