Sinead Faughnan
Sinead Faughnan is a Certified Financial Planner and Vice President at UBS Private Wealth Management. Sinead has spent the past 17 years working with individuals and families on all aspects of their financial planning needs. Sinead is passionate about helping people, coaching clients through difficult markets, and celebrating their milestones. Sinead is a self-proclaimed extrovert and believes this profession is a perfect fit for her. Sinead received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Berkeley College with a concentration in International Business.
Sinead is a board member of the Aisling Irish Center in Yonkers, NY, a 25-year non-profit organization that promotes Irish culture, mental and physical health, education, social welfare, and a connection to Irish traditions and community. She was a panelist on a 100 Women in Finance: Mentorship and Sponsorship discussion and recently hosted a UBS Own Your Worth: Women & Investing event in collaboration with the Irish Business Organization. Sinead was honored by the Ireland Funds as Young Leader of the Year in 2018 and was named in the Irish Echo Top 40 under 40 in 2020.
Sinead was born in Ireland and is from the beautiful countryside of Brosna, Co. Kerry. Sinead and her family moved to New York back in the 1980s, and she still resides in New York today. Sinead makes annual trips back to visit family in Ireland and feels blessed to have this amazing connection to Ireland. Sinead lives with her husband, Jeff, in Westchester County, NY.
