Niall Brennan
Niall Brennan is President and CEO of HCCI, which analyzes data on over 100 million Americans to foster greater understanding of the growth in, and drivers of US health care costs. He is a nationally recognized expert in health care policy, the use of health care data to enable and accelerate health system change, and data transparency.
He has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of the American Medical Association, the New England Journal of Medicine and Health Affairs. Prior to joining HCCI, Niall was Chief Data Officer at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Niall has also worked at the Brookings Institution, the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission, and the Congressional Budget Office.
Niall was born in Cavan Town, County Cavan and spent the majority of his childhood living in Bray, Co. Wicklow with his parents, Noel and Ann, and his sister Roisin. He attended Presentation College Bray and University College Dublin, before receiving a scholarship to Georgetown University where he received an MPP. He lives in Washington D.C. with his wife Myra Tanamor and their children Niamh and Eoghan. ♦
