Mickey Coleman
Mickey Coleman’s childhood went from lifting potatoes in a field behind his primary school; to running the gauntlet of the Troubles in the North of Ireland; to winning medals in sport; to the creation and establishment of Manhattan-based Shoreline Builders Inc., which he founded 10 years ago.
Mickey has two All Ireland Football Medals with County Tyrone from 2003 and 2005, and is still very involved in the GAA in New York with his club, Rockland GAA. When he moved to New York he met Erin, who runs her own School of Irish Music & Arts. They married and have two children.
Mickey’s daily routine was straightforward, the daily commute from Pearl River into Manhattan where work involved him leading a team of over 100 employees. But some months ago, Mickey, at just 41, suffered a heart attack, and it changed his approach to life.
Mickey and Erin have set up an Instagram page called @heartyplantbasedfood which is an account full of food recipes they believe will change your health and wellbeing.
