Micaela Connery
The Kelsey
Micaela Connery is the co-founder an CEO of The Kelsey, an organization advancing disability-forward, inclusive housing solutions. Co-founded with her late-cousin Kelsey, The Kelsey has over 200 mixed income homes in development and $80M+ in investments including from Google, the City of San Francisco, the Weinberg Foundation, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, the State of California, and other public, private, and philanthropic partners. Prior to The Kelsey, Micaela was the founder and CEO of Unified Theater, and organization she started at the age of 15 creating inclusive arts programming in over 100 schools across the country. Micaela completed her MPP at Harvard Kennedy School and MBA as a Mitchell Scholar at University College Dublin. She was a Cheng Fellow at the Harvard Social Innovation and Change Initiative where she incubated The Kelsey. As a research fellow at the Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies, she published leading research on housing and disability. She’s a proud University of Virginia Wahoo, where she graduated with high distinction. Micaela lives in San Francisco with her husband, an American she met in Dublin, and spends her free time biking around the city, camping, and cooking.
