Margaret-Anne Hennessy is Head of Americas Relationship Management for Securities Finance Agency Lending at BNY.  BNY is the world’s largest Agent Lender with $5 trillion of lendable assets. She has responsibility for relationship management and business development for BNY’s Securities Finance Americas client base. Margaret-Anne is passionate about belonging and inclusion. She is an active member of BNY’s Women’s Initiative Network as well as being a member of Women in Securities Finance, and Women with Ambition.

Margaret-Anne has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, having also worked for DZ Bank and JP Morgan.

Margaret-Anne was born and raised in Limerick, Ireland. She earned a Bachelor of Business Studies from the University of Limerick. She moved to London in 2006 and relocated to New York in 2023 with BNY. She is based in Manhattan and is grateful for the fantastic Irish American community in New York. Margaret-Anne is very proud of her Irish roots and loves to tour around Ireland when she makes trips back to see her family.
