Larry McGrath is the Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer, & Chief Strategic Advisor to the CEO. He oversees enterprise strategy, the Office of the CEO, and Investor Relations. Larry is integral in communicating growth strategy to investors and has extensive experience in health care and financial services. With more than 20 years of financial services experience, Larry has deep industry knowledge and many connections to the analyst community.

Larry joined the company in July 2022 as Senior Vice President, Business Development & Investor Relations. His responsibilities included overseeing communications with the investment community and corporate development and mergers and acquisitions functions.

Before joining CVS Health, Larry was a global healthcare portfolio manager at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in New York City. In this role, he spent several years as a core investing analyst in the global healthcare space, managing a $7 billion product for J.P. Morgan clients. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Larry was a healthcare analyst at Pioneer Investments in Boston and Setanta Asset Management in Dublin, Ireland.

Born in Galway and raised in Sandyford, Co. Dublin. He was a student at St. Mary’s College in Rathmines before earning a commerce, banking, and finance degree from University College Dublin and a master’s degree in investment and treasury management from Dublin City University.

When he’s not discussing health care and stocks, Larry enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, playing social tennis, and skiing.
