Kieran Claffey
Kieran Claffey is a partner at PwC LLP. After joining PwC in 1985, he spent over ten years in the assurance practice, primarily servicing multinational clients. He then transferred to the firm’s national office to focus on major litigation and regulatory related issues. He is PwC’s representative on the Technical Standards Committee of the American Institute of CPAs.
Kieran was a founding member and director of the Ireland Chamber of Commerce in the United States and a director of the European-American Chamber of Commerce. He is currently the national treasurer and board member of the Ireland-U.S. Council of Commerce & Industry. Kieran is also a member of the Board of Trustees of The Gateway Schools that provide a nurturing environment for students with learning disabilities and a director of Legal Information for Families Today. Born in Dublin, Kieran received his BA from University College Dublin. He is also a chartered accountant and a CPA. He lives in Manhattan with his wife Michelle and three sons, Ryan, CJ and Steven.
