Kevin McLaughlin

Kevin is a Managing Director with over 35 years of investment experience at Merrill Lynch, where he has been his entire career. He advises non-profits, institutions, private foundations, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
Kevin holds a degree in Finance from Boston College and completed the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania High Net Worth Investment Program. Kevin met the Harvard Business School requirements for a certificate in Sustainable Investing. Forbes has named Kevin to numerous annual “Best of Advisors” lists, including for 2024. Kevin, a past President of the Boston College Alumni Association, is on the Executive Committee of BC’s Wall Street Business Leadership Council. Kevin is an alumnus of Xavier High School, New York, where he is a past Trustee.
In September 2022, Kevin received the David Brady Award at Merrill Lynch. The award is named for David Brady, a New York-based Merrill Lynch Financial Advisor who died in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. David was highly respected for his client-first ethos and for giving back to the community.
In 2023, Kevin was the Irish America Magazine Keynote Speaker at the Wall Street 50 Dinner. His paternal Grandfather, Joseph McLaughlin, emigrated from Kilrea, Co. Antrim, to New York, where he met and married first-generation Nora Donovan, whose parents emigrated from Croom, Co. Limerick. Maternal Grandparents Patrick McLaughlin and Molly Curtain both emigrated to New York from Cork City.
