Kevin Kelly is a Managing Director in the Equity Division of Merrill Lynch & Co. in Manhattan, New York. Kelly joined Merrill Lynch in 1986 as a trader on the NASDAQ trading desk. Within four years he was promoted to senior trader and he was named a Managing Director of the firm in 2000. In 2003, he assumed trading responsibility for both listed and NASDAQ securities.

Kelly was born and raised in Orange, New Jersey. He attended Rutgers University from where he graduated in 1980 with a bachelor’s degree in economics. A third-generation Irish American, Kelly traces his roots on both sides of the family to County Dublin. “To have a friend, you have to be a friend” is something Kelly holds close to his heart. He is an avid supporter and friend to a number of organizations including the Sisters of Charity; St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and the YMCA of Madison, NJ. Loyal to his Irish roots, he is also involved with The American Ireland Fund.

Kelly and his wife Bridget reside in Madison, New Jersey with their two children.
