Kevin Conway
Kevin Conway is the Vice Chairman of Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, a global private equity firm known for blending investment skills with operating capabilities to build great businesses. Kevin currently serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee, a position he has held for over twenty years. He was previously Managing Partner and a member of the Management Committee.
Prior to joining CD&R in 1994, Kevin held several senior leadership positions with Goldman Sachs & Co. A magna cum laude graduate of Amherst College, Kevin also holds a joint degree from Columbia University, with an MBA from Columbia Business School, and a JD from Columbia Law School.
Together with his wife, Dee, Kevin is a long-time supporter of charitable and civic causes, including Catholic Charities, Tuesday’s Children, Adventures in Learning, Little Flower Children’s Services, Student Sponsor Partners, and other organizations addressing education, social services, and the needs of the disadvantaged. Kevin is also a Trustee at Carnegie Corporation of New York. Kevin is currently co-chair of Access for All, a scholarship initiative at Chaminade High School, aimed at providing full scholarships for students and families in the most underserved communities on Long Island.
Kevin, who traces his heritage to immigrants from Leitrim, Meath, Cork, and Limerick in the 1800s, served as the Grand Marshal of the New York St. Patrick’s Day Parade in 2023, helping to raise $1.4 million to combat food insecurity.
