Julian Robinson
Julian currently serves as the Chair of the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine, where he has also served as the Chair of the Quality and Patient Safety Division.
He is the Chief Medical Officer at Massachusetts General Brigham: Newton Wellesley Hospital campus, an institution where he was also the Medical Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine for many years before serving as Chief of Obstetrics at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital; he maintains his academic appointment at Harvard Medical School. He is President of the Newton Wellesley Medical Group, a multi-specialty physician management group of approximately 280 physicians. His professional interests include Quality and Safety, and his clinical and research interests include Obstetrics, prenatal diagnosis, and multiple pregnancy. He has approximately 150 academic publications. He is a Diplomate of the Boards of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine in America and a Fellow of both the Royal and American Colleges of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Julian was born and brought up between Coleraine and Belfast, Northern Ireland, spending a lot of his time on the family farm in County Antrim. He has maintained very strong connections with Ireland and returns annually staying active in vintage automobile events and enjoying Irish culture and countryside (particularly Counties Down and Donegal). He has maintained robust links with the medical community in Ireland and is an active supporter and collaborator in Irish innovation in the Life Sciences. ♦
