John Duffy
Following his recent retirement from J.P. Morgan, John founded Rocker & Camber, LLC which advises founders, families and funds with a singular focus on their private investment strategies.
Most recently at J.P. Morgan he founded Morgan Private Ventures (MPV), a global private investment business focused on funding midstage growth companies via direct and co-investment transactions with capital raised from institutionally qualified clients.
Prior to the founding of MPV John served as Vice Chairman of J.P. Morgan Private Bank, Global Head of Institutional Wealth Management and CEO of the U.S. Private Bank. He began his career with J.P. Morgan in 1982.
John is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and New York University, Stern School of Business. His paternal grandfather hailed from Clare Island, Co. Mayo.
He and his spouse, Tricia, reside in New York. Their three adult sons, John, Patrick and Brendan live and work in California and New York.
