James K. Coleman has been active in the commercial real estate business since 1982. As a partner at Houlihan-Parnes Properties, Jim has been involved in all aspects of real estate in the New York area.
Jim, the eldest of five children, grew up in the Woodlawn section of the Bronx. His parents, James and Catherine Coleman, emigrated to the US from Ireland: his father from Co. Roscommon, and his mother from Co. Cavan. Jim played Gaelic football for the Fordham Celtics and the Roscommon Club.
Jim attended St. Barnabas Elementary School, Mt. St. Michael Academy, and Manhattan University. He is the chairman of the school board at Mt. St. Michael and their annual Golf/Tennis Invitational. Jim is on the Board of Governors of the Bronx Chapter of HGAR and also chairs the annual bowling event.
An active supporter of all things Irish, Jim is a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Ireland-U.S. Council and is the First Vice President of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick of Westchester.
Jim lives with his wife, Mary, in Ridgefield, CT, and Spring Lake, NJ. He is the father of three adult children and the grandad of George and Jack!
