James Cahill
James Cahill is the Vice President of Labor Accounts & NY Public Sector for Anthem BlueCross BlueShield, where he supports hardworking New Yorkers as part of the company’s mission to materially and measurably improve the health of all New Yorkers. In this role, he oversees healthcare for New York’s unions, ensuring access for the people that power the City that never sleeps.
James was raised with deep roots in the Irish- American community, after his family settled on Manhattan’s West Side from county Cork in the early 1900s.
James earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Fairfield University. In his free time, he coaches a youth hockey team, which went on to win USA Hockey 16U AAA National Championship in 2021.
His greatest accomplishment, however, is his family – his wife Kelly and their three young sons, Jimmy, Daniel, and Matthew.
