Greg Kelly
Reporter Greg Kelly is co-host of Fox’s Good Day New York. Before joining Good Day in 2008, he was a co-host of Fox and Friends and a correspondent for Fox News Channel from 2002-2008, serving as White House Correspondent from 2005-2007. Kelly began his career as an anchor and reporter for ABC’s Binghamton, NY affiliate, News Channel 34. After that, he worked as a reporter for New York 1, covering New York City politics and the September 11th terrorist attacks. During his time at Fox News, Kelly covered the war in Iraq as an embedded journalist with the United States Army’s 3rd Infantry Division, 2nd Brigade.
Prior to beginning his journalism career, Kelly served for nine years in the U.S. Marine Corps as a fighter pilot. He currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Marine Corps Reserves. The son of Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, Greg is third generation Irish American. All four of his great-grandparents were born in Ireland, coming from Counties Roscommon, Longford and Cavan.
