Erin McGovern is a Strategic Global Account Executive at Microsoft. In this role, she manages and expands the relationship between Microsoft and Citigroup, one of the world’s premier financial institutions. Erin also serves as a Lead for the Women at Microsoft NY/NJ Chapter’s Mental & Physical Wellbeing Committee and is a recurring panelist and Mentor for Microsoft’s Summer Mentee Program.

Erin is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, where she earned a degree in Security & Risk Analysis. She has also contributed to the Penn State community by serving on the College of Information Sciences & Technology Alumni Board.

A proud second-generation Irish American from Pearl River, New York, Erin’s paternal grandparents emigrated from Co. Leitrim (Ballinamore) and Co. Cavan (Glangevlin), while her maternal side hails from Co. Galway (Ballymoe).

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Erin is a passionate advocate for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. In 2023, she ran the New York City Marathon with the Foundation and annually organizes a team of 75 runners for their NYC 5K race, fundraising more than $16,000 to date. Erin is also a member of O’Donovan Rossa Ladies Gaelic Football Club and St. Joseph’s Parish. She resides in Manhattan.
