Donna Cleary joined TD Bank in April ‘24 as NY Metro-Middle Market Team Lead. Donna provides strategic leadership and expertise to grow and deepen client relationships throughout the middle market space across the New York Metropolitan area.

Prior to TD, Donna worked at Santander Bank where she held various positions over her 6-year tenure including Head of NY Metro-Middle Market Banking, where she built a team and grew a successful business in this key market. She was also Head of Credit Management for the Commercial Bank. Donna spent 15 years at Allied Irish Bank (AIB) where she held both relationship and credit management leadership roles in Europe and the U.S. A native of County Clare, she moved to New York from Ireland in 2013.

Donna earned her post-graduate degree in Finance at Smurfit Graduate Business School, University College Dublin, and her Bachelor of International Arts in French and Spanish at the University College Galway. She is also a qualified Accountant.

Donna has a customer-centric approach and a passion for building inclusive and high-performing teams. She is a champion and advocate of junior talent through involvement in various mentorship programs.

A proud mother of 2 daughters, she lives on Long Island and enjoys running, golfing, coaching, and playing soccer.
