Donna is Head of Middle Market New York & LI for Santander’s Commercial Bank. She is responsible for managing the Bank’s middle market Commercial banking business in New York, Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens & Fairfield, Connecticut.

Prior to this, Donna was Head of Underwriting and Portfolio Management (UWPM) for the Commercial Bank where she led a team of 90 talented credit professionals and transformed the Bank’s UWPM function by instilling a singular, standardized culture of credit across the Bank.

Before joining Santander in 2018, Donna spent 15-years at Allied Irish Bank (AIB) where she held both credit and relationship management roles across a range of sectors in Europe and the U.S. Donna is an Irish National who moved to New York in 2013 to help grow AIB’s Leveraged Finance Group.

Donna earned her post-graduate degree in Business & Finance at Smurfit Graduate Business School, University College Dublin, and her undergraduate degree in French and Spanish at the National University of Ireland, Galway. She is also a qualified IFRS Accountant.

She is a champion and advocate of junior talent through her active involvement in the Bank’s Intern & Credit Analyst Programs, the Aspire Mentorship Program and the Cultivating Small Businesses Program.
