Waystone

Des Johnson is the Global Chief Revenue Officer and a Global Executive Committee member at Waystone. He is responsible for defining sales strategies and overseeing the global commercial and marketing team.

With more than 25 years of experience, Des has extensive knowledge of offshore and onshore financial sectors. He previously served as CEO of Centaur Fund Services US and was an Executive Team member at SS&C, managing over 600 employees across 12 countries. He has also held senior management roles at other leading financial services firms in the US, Ireland, Bermuda, and Australia including Citibank, BISYS, and IFS/State Street.

Des holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Dublin Business School. He serves on the US board of the Children’s Medical Research Foundation, the US affiliate of the Children’s Health Foundation in Ireland. 

Born and raised in Dublin, Des has lived in the US for 15 years and resides in Wyckoff, New Jersey, with his wife Jo and their children: Alex, Dexter, and Lily. Des is proud of his Irish heritage and regularly visits Ireland with his family.
