Cora Creed
Cora Creed is a vice president at Universal Music Group, based in New York and currently oversees the Strategic Programs group. Cora has almost 25 years’ experience and expertise in business transformation in the digital space, and has worked with leading brands like Napster, Sony, and EMI.
Cora is a founding member and director of Swazi Legacy, a non-profit organization that assists marginalized and homeless young people in Eswatini (formerly Swaziland). She has led teams from New York and Ireland to Swaziland to work at Manzini Youth Centre. Cora is also on the board of directors of Siamsa Tíre, the National Folk Theatre of Ireland. Cora believes that “despite being one of the smallest nations on earth the Irish have left an indelible mark, as many aspects of the culture have propagated to the four corners of the world.”
She is also struck by the “incredible goodwill towards the Irish” that she finds on her travels abroad. Originally from Listowel, Co. Kerry, she came to the U.S. in 1990 on a Donnelly Visa. Cora is married to Thomas Creed, also from Kerry and splits her time between New York and Kenmare in Co. Kerry.
