Conor O’Keefe
Conor O’Keefe has been working as a director at Merrill Lynch for 12 years. He is responsible for the distribution of investment solutions spanning private equity, private debt, private real estate and hedge fund offerings across the firm. He is a chartered alternative investment analyst (CAIA).
A native of New Hampshire, Conor graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a BS in Economics, and has acted as an instructor at his alma mater for multiple economics classes.
Conor’s great-grandparents, James O’Keefe and Alice McGoldrick, immigrated from Millstreet, County Cork. His grandfather, John E. O’Keefe was born in Lawrence, MA. and served in the U.S. Marine Corps for the 3rd Marine Construction Division in the South Pacific during World War II. He saw combat in Bougainville and Guadalcanal. Upon his return from the War, John married Marion McGurren and went on to build a family of eight children, the oldest being Conor’s father, Kevin.
Named for Conor Larkin, the main character and protagonist in Leon Uris’ book Trinity (a favorite read of his father’s), Conor lives in Newburyport, MA with his wife, Elizabeth, son, Kevin, and daughter, Eloise.
