Chris Farley
Chris Farley, currently starring in Tristar Pictures’ Beverly Hills Ninja, was brought to Chicago’s renowned Second City comedy club by director Del Close who had worked with the young Farley at Close’s Improv Olympic Theatre in Chicago.
Farley performed two shows at the Second City in the late-1980’s, perfecting the loud characters for which he is known. His characters brought him further thunderous applause during his five season stint on NBC-TV’s long-running hit, Saturday Night Live.
During his tenure on SNL, Farley created such popular and memorable characters as motivational speaker Matt Foley, the tongue-tied host of the Chris Farley Show, and the Chicago-bred fan of “The Bears.”
Farley has starred in the hit comedies Tommy Boy and Black Sheep. He has also appeared in the films Wayne’s World, Wayne’s World 2 and Coneheads.
In addition to Beverly Hills Ninja, Farley stars opposite Friends-star Matthew Perry in the forthcoming comedy Edwards &Hunt.
