Caitriona Fottrell
Caitriona Fottrell is President and CEO of The Ireland Funds, headquartered in New York, which has raised over $600 million for more than 3,000 charitable organizations in the areas of peace and reconciliation, arts and culture, community development and education across the island of Ireland.
Prior to her current role, she served as Vice President of The Ireland Funds in Dublin and oversaw grant-making for the organization. She also previously served as Director of Development in Boston. She now oversees the 12 worldwide chapters of The Ireland Funds, one of the largest private grantmakers for the nonprofit sector in Ireland.
Caitriona grew up in Galway and has a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Galway and an MBA from Boston University.
