Brendan Farrell
Brendan Farrell is a managing director at Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. He began his U.S. career in the mid-1980s at the Bank of New York. In 1996, he founded XSP, a global provider of corporate actions processing software, and sold XSP in December 2021.
Born in the U.S. to Brendan (R.I.P.) of Ballinalee, Co. Longford and Rita (née McAuliffe) of Knockbrack, Knocknagoshel, Co. Kerry, Brendan was raised in Longford Town, where his family owned O’Farrell’s Foodstore.
Brendan, a graduate of Athlone Institute of Technology (AIT, now TUS), lives in Denville, N.J., with his wife, Christine. They are proud parents of Dylan, a computer-engineering manager in Philadelphia, and Brianna, an economic consulting manager in Washington, D.C.
Brendan remains deeply connected to his Irish roots through his involvement with many Irish organizations and, in 2011, was honored as a finalist in the Ernst & Young Irish Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
