Brendan Connolly
Brendan Connolly is a managing director and head of Leveraged Capital Markets for UBS Investment Bank in New York. In this role, he manages UBS’s Global High Yield Bond and Loan Capital Markets activities and is a member of the Credit/Fixed Income Management Committee and the IBD Americas Executive Committee.
Brendan received a BA in economics from Rutgers University and an MBA in finance from Columbia Business School. Prior to his current position, Brendan worked for Credit Suisse Group in New York. He joined UBS’s High Yield Syndicate group in 2004, with responsibility for the firm’s High Yield underwriting risk.
A Bronx native, Brendan is married with three children. He is a first-generation Irish American and very proud of his Irish heritage. His father John hails from Tyholland, County Monaghan and is the proprietor of the popular Connolly’s midtown Manhattan pubs; his mother Mary hails from Irishtown, County Mayo.
