TRIBUTES have been paid to an Irishman who died while on holiday in Sardinia. Kilkenny native John Bergin went missing on September 6 while hiking on the Italian island. THE sinking of a smuggling ship in Co. Mayo has been delayed due to bad weather in Ireland. The MV Shingle is currently in dry dock in New Ross Harbour in Co.
