2024 Gala, Tuesday June 4th, Gustavino’s New York City
Floating Hospital President Sean Granahan, an Irish America Business 100 honoree from 2023 and keynote speaker, urges your support for The Floating Hospital’s Golden Legacies Gala on June 4 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm at Guastavino’s, nestled beneath the 59th Street Bridge in Manhattan. The event underwrites the charity hospital’s mission to provide healthcare and other urgent necessities to homeless families in New York City.
Simon Jones of the HBO series “The Gilded Age” will serve as MC. Created and written by Julian Fellowes, the series is set in 1880s New York City. Jones plays Bannister, a butler in an old-money East Side townhouse, and will add some lively authenticity to the evening’s theme. An auction of a weeklong stay in a luxury Tuscan villa for eight will be part of the evening’s program, which includes cocktails, dinner, and a paddle raise.
Granahan invites you to celebrate with him and step back into the Gilded Age at Guastavino’s with its majestic granite arches and Catalan vaulted tile ceilings. This hidden landmark of New York City architecture is the perfect backdrop for an event that honors The Floating Hospital’s historic legacy as a beacon of hope for generations. He hopes to see you there!
