It is approximately 25,000 miles to travel around the world and Children’s Medical Research Foundation (CMRF Inc.) is seeking volunteers across the globe this June to get on their bikes for the 4th Annual Virtual Cycle Around the World to collectively reach the target and raise funds for world-class pediatric research.
Get ready to hop on your bike and join the challenge between June 7th and 21st! This year, the goal is to collectively cycle 25,000 miles and raise $250,000, and we can’t wait to see what we can achieve together.
Are you ready to take on the challenge? Here’s how you can get involved in just three easy steps:
- Follow this link to our fundraising page
- Click on the orange “Start Fundraising” button, sign up, and enter your details. Select “Fitness at Home” and “Personal Cycle” as your activity type, and complete your personalized JustGiving fundraising page. Your fundraising efforts will be tracked and contribute towards the overall CMRF JustGiving page.
- To track your cycling results, link your Strava account directly to your JustGiving page using this link
And that’s it! You’re ready to start cycling for a great cause. Plus, we’ll have an exciting leaderboard posted on LinkedIn and Instagram, so make sure to follow along and see who’s leading the pack.
Your efforts will help to support world-leading scientists who are dedicated to improving the lives of sick children, not only in Ireland but having a global impact. Because of generous individuals like you, we can better understand some of the most serious illnesses facing children today, so they can be diagnosed quickly and treated with kinder and more efficient methods.
But that’s not all – for those in the tri-state area, we’re also hosting a group cycling event on June 17th in Seabright, New Jersey. Join us for a catered breakfast, a group cycle, and some delicious ice cream. Email newyork@cmrf-usa.org to reserve your spot today!
We believe that together we can do #WhateverItTakes to make this year’s CMRF Virtual Cycle a huge success. So, hop on your bike, get moving, and make a difference in the lives of children and families who need it most.
