One of the most highly-anticipated films of the season is Steve Jobs, about the legendary Apple computers founder. Set to be released October 9th, the Jobs biopic stars Cork native and Academy Award nominee Michael Fassbender as the tortured genius, who helped create Apple, fell out of favor with the company, only to return triumphantly and make Apple perhaps the most prestigious and lucrative company in the world. (Jobs died in 2011.) Steve Jobs also stars Seth Rogen, Kate Winslet and Jeff Daniels and was directed by Oscar
winner Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours), who was born in Scotland to parents from Galway. ♦
