The Ireland-U.S. Council honored An Taoiseach Enda Kenny TD with a Lifetime Achievement Award to mark his contributions to Ireland and Ireland-U.S. relations, and presented its Award for Outstanding Achievement in 2014 to Gerald C. Crotty, chairman and chief operating officer of Mayo Renewable Power to mark his contributions to building business bonds between the United States and Ireland.
The awards were the centerpiece of the Council’s 52nd annual dinner, which was held at the Metropolitan Club in New York City on Thursday, November 13, 2014. The Ireland-U.S. Council was founded in 1962 by business leaders in the United States and Ireland to encourage and promote business between Ireland and the United States.
