The Henry Ford Museum Unveils a New Exhibit

This Saturday, Bill Ford Jr., Irish America’s 2011 Business 100 Keynote Speaker, was joined by an excited and distinguished crowd, including Michigan Governor Rick Snyder at The Henry Ford Museum to unveil a new exhibit: “Driving America.” The exhibit chronicles not just technological and aesthetic advances in the auto industry but also uses digital media and artifacts to tell the story of just how the auto industry changed the face of America’s day-to-day life. Join in the Coke Polar Bowl!

The Chicago Bears may not be at the Superbowl this year, but the Coca-Cola bears will be! Coke’s announced its first ever Coke Polar Bowl Party, a digital campaign designed to join in the fun of the Superbowl while raising money to save the natural home of their wintery mascot. The online live stream will feature the iconic polar bears watching the game and chatting with friends from kick off until the clock runs out. Coca-Cola has partnered with World Wildlife Fund and will donate $1 for every RSVP to the Polar Bowl Party to be used toward protecting the Arctic and its wildlife. The campaign looks to involve viewers in a new digital way, they can tune in using their tablets and smartphones as the country watches the Giants and Patriots face off next Sunday. UCD Announces New Environmental Finance Degree

The effort continues to make the Emerald Isle even greener. UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business announced a new MSc in energy and environmental finance program. The graduate degree is a specially crafted program which integrates the finer points of finance and economics with environmental science, mathematics and engineering.  Kennedy Hyannis Compound Transferred

The Kennedy home at Hyannis Port has been transfered by the family to the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate on Monday. Plans for the compound will now include educational seminars. There is some possibility that the Kennedy Compound will be opened with limitations to the public.
