The Irish Repertory Theatre’s Tenth Annual Gala Benefit on Broadway offered a rare concert version of the classic musical Finian’s Rainbow. Hosted by Hollywood legend Lauren Bacall, the evening show starred John Cullum (Tony Award winner for Shenandoah and On the Twentieth Century) as Finian McLonegan, Melissa Errico (2003 Tony Award nomination for Amour) as Finian’s daughter, Sharon, and Denis O’Hare (2003 Tony Award Winner for Take Me Out) as the mischievous leprechaun, Og. The show was directed by Irish Repertory Theatre founder and Artistic Director Charlotte Moore.
Immediately following the performance on June 2, guests enjoyed a gala supper at the Millennium Broadway Hotel. For more information on the Irish Repertory Theatre call 212 255-0270. ♦
