Perish the thought! But it’s a possibility Riverdance producers Moya Doherty and John McColgan are prepared for. The power couple are already working on a new show that picks up where Riverdance leaves off. “I call is Riverdance meets Les Miserables,” McColgan told the Irish Voice. “It will be a major show that takes us away from Riverdance and on to something of a broad theatrical nature. We’re excited about it.”
What does this mean for Riverdance? Rest assured, for as McColgan points out, “We tend to book two years ahead, so there’s definitely another two years. Very probably another three years.” ♦
