After meeting in 1972 while both studying law at Yale University, Bill Clinton and Hillary Rodham married on this day in 1975 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Bill Clinton, who is a 2011 Irish America Hall of Fame inductee, was a huge supporter of the Irish peace process and played a very important role in the Good Friday Agreement. Hillary Clinton accompanied her husband on several of their trips to Ireland, the first being in 1995.
