Brittany Ryan is the NCAA’s all-time scoring leader in football among female kickers, with 100 points. A business administration major and psychology minor at Lebanon Valley College (LVC) in Annville, PA, she was a varsity soccer player when she decided to try out for the football team in her senior year of high school in Easton, PA. After receiving an honorable mention in the all-state team, Vincent Pantalone, inside linebackers coach at LVC, contacted her high school coach about Ryan visiting the college. The rest is history.
While her teammates acknowledged it was strange to have a girl on the team at first, they quickly saw her as one of them. Besides holding the all-time scoring record among female kickers, Ryan ended her career with LVC with some pretty impressive stats, including becoming LVC’s all-time PAT (points after touchdown) leader with 82 points. In addition to her playing skills, Ryan has excelled academically as well, making the Middle Atlantic Conference’s Fall Academic Honor Roll in December 2010 for the second year in a row.
